This is a stock 2.0 litre Lotus 907 with Dellorto Carbs rated at 160 HP.

The 907 engine almost ready for installation. It is obviously too clean to be taken seriously as a Lotus engine.

This is an early Turbocharged 2.2 litre Lotus 910 engine being lowered into Ed Luce's car. It is a 215 HP develoment of the original 907 engine. More modern versions of this 2.2 litre engine have been developed to deliver peaks of up to 300 HP. Note the inboard location of the rear disc brakes on the early Esprits.
