I have owned this car since new in 1985. It is absolutely stock except for new tires and a replacement exhaust. After riding in some earlier Z-cars it is clear that this car was the "low point" in handling for these cars. On the other hand, it is the most comfortable car I have ever driven over a long haul. The second generation 300ZX is reputed to have corrected most of these handling problems although I have not had a chance to experience that for myself yet.
This sequence of photos was taken in Monterey CA when both the car and I were young (of course Marilyn still is - how does that work?). One photo shows the famous Cannery Row in the background. I have not seen many gold 300 ZXs over the years so I was surprised to see Darren's car in Kingston (even before Darren bought it) so there are virtual twins in the TIZCC now.
