David bought the car back in 1988. It currently has 58,000 miles on the clock and whilst it is not in mint condition it is in very good condition indeed. He reports he has all the necessary items to restore the car to "as new" including the elusive black and gold Lotus bonnet badge and more importantly a roll of the original gold cloth used for the seats.
