Stewart wrote and asked if I would like to add a "JPS non-commemorative" car to the register. I asked what that meant and here is his reply with photos. Nice car Stewart!

Yes my car is a 1979 originally on a V plate ( DPK 335V ), it is the same colour scheme (as the JPS commemorative cars) but only has thin gold stripes instead of the thicker ones stating "world champion". The car has no commemorative number, and the interior is different. The interior has a black cloth dashboard, including doors. The doors have a red leather insert to match the red leather seats. The car has now got the registration OPM1M. The only thing I do not like about it is that a previous owner has gone and fitted a glass sunroof.

I personally think the appearance is better than the commemoratives. The "World Championi" decals are a bit too much to my eye. Not that I have any plans to remove mine or anything - they may not look as nice, but they add a certain "tackiness" that I just can't resist! Still I do like the cleaner look of Stewart's car.
